Hi friends!

My name is Darcy and I am Ally’s fluffy editor.

I have a very important job in taking care of my human. She gets lost in the annoying thing on her lap that she taps at a lot and doesn’t always remember to fetch. It’s my job to remind her how important fetch is by bringing the ball over every few taps. Sometimes, I like to lose the ball under the couch so she has to get up and get it.

My other hobbies include, collecting debris from outside and bringing it inside, dumping the trash over and shredding any tissues I find, shedding, barking at animals on the tv, hiding snacks and forgetting about them, and flipping over my food bowl in protest. I also like long naps on the bed, the sofa, and the rugs.

More about me you ask? I’m a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I’m six years old, I know because my human puts a stupid hat on my head every year and takes a picture.

I’m an Ares, the human’s google search tells me that this means I’m confident and bold. That tracks.

My job as editor can be very stressful, I like to take naps and snack breaks often to manage the stress. I recommend those to anyone doing such difficult work.

Currently, I’m supervising the human while she edits The Baker and the Bookmaker. I think it’s pretty good, there’s a lot of snacks in it, and I do love snacks. But it could probably use a bird or a cat or something to else to chase. Maybe another book….

It’s time for another nap now, remember to take care of yourself.
